Located in peaceful country surroundings, 12km east of Bathurst, Glanmire Boarding Kennels and Cattery provides first class care for our customers loved pets. Owned and operated by Adrienne and Michael Miller, who founded the business in 1988.
With 30 years’ experience in the pet care industry Mick and Adrienne have designed first class boarding facilities for both dogs and cats. The company saying “your pets are our concern” is endorsed by all staff members here at Glanmire, where we ensure all pets enjoy their stay with us. Glanmire is a family run business and a real home away from home, all pets receive ample play time and exercise in our large, turfed exercise yards, high quality diet, and spacious and comfortable sleeping quarters.

Rebecca Welsh29. December, 2023.Had our 5 dogs stay 5 nights during Christmas period. This is only their second time staying and they can’t wait to go through the door. Our dogs range from 7 months to almost 16yrs old. They were all good weight and had been well exercised and well cared for. Our young cattle dog boy who is hard to tire out fell asleep within two minutes driving home in the car. They even slept in the following morning????. Was not sure what to expect at drop off and pick up due to busiest time of year but wait time was very reasonable with a debrief on how the dogs faired during their stay on pickup. Located in a spacious country environment, Glanmire is going to be your dog’s home away from home that they never want to leave! Dogs enjoy playtime and excercise in our large, turfed exercise yards. Included in your dog’s stay is excercise, high quality diet (Royal Canine dry food and a variety of fresh meat), ample attention from our friendly staff and raised trampoline beds.
Our cat boarding facility is seperately located to the dog boarding facility. Your cat will appreciate our luxurious spacious boarding facilities. Your cat can enjoy relaxing indoors or soaking up the sun outside. Our facilities are perfect for all cats!
Here at Glanmire we offer a range of grooming services to ensure your pets go home looking and feeling their best. We offer an extensive range of services and use high quality products. You can select a range of our services as extras during your pets boarding.
Our prices are calculated per calendar day. Boarding prices are full inclusive of your pet’s care during their stay.
Additional boarding charges include extra grooming requirements, medication, and senior care. Your pet may have their size category changed on drop off, which will result in an increase or decrease in your total booking price.
Please note that weekend surcharges and public holiday surcharges are not included in pet boarding prices.

From the East (driving from Sydney, Penrith, Blue Mountains, Windsor, Richmond, Kurrajong, Lithgow, Mudgee and Eastern NSW regions). Glanmire Boarding Kennels and Cattery is located approximately 35-40 minutes towards Bathurst after leaving Lithgow. Turn right into Glanmire Lane and approximately 1.4km on your right is Glanmire Kennels and Cattery.
From the West (driving from Orange, Forbes, Cowra, Blaney, Bathurst, Oberon and Western NSW regions). Glanmire Boarding Kennels and Cattery is located approximately 12km from Bathurst heading towards Lithgow-Sydney on the Great Western Highway. Turn left into Glanmire Lane and approximatley 1.4 km on your right is Glanmire Kennels and Cattery.
